We want your best vegetarian or animal rights-related quote for publication on the front page of our site! Each of the best three quotes (as chosen by us) will appear as our Quote of the Month. But there's more: The winners get to go on a shopping spree at our online store.

Anyone with an original quote is qualified to participate (except anyone associated with The Vegetarian Site). Be as creative or mundane as you'd like to be, so long as you're submitting your own work. Please read the simple rules below before submitting your quote(s).

Rules:

• All quotes submitted must be your own original work. Both the words and the central idea cannot be derived from others' existing quotes.
• You may submit a maximum of only 2quotes.
• You agree that any quote submitted may be displayed on TheVegetarianSite.com and subsidiary web sites indefinitely (with credit to you, of course).
• Quotes must be one or two sentences in length. (The shorter, the better.)
• As a winner, you agree to have your name and state/province displayed on TheVegetarianSite.com and/or subsidiary web sites.
• All entries must be received by September 15, 2010.
